Brand Business Cards

Tune in to KPEL 96.5 at 5:15pm today for Brand Buzz.  Each week we discuss how to build your brand and analyze tools that you can use.  This week we are talking about business cards.  Download the ebook, Down Low on Business Cards, to learn more.

Building your brand has to start with the basics.  At the very foundation is the first impression that consumers have of you and your business.  For a B2B company, the first impression is often based on your business card.

So the question becomes, how will people think of you based on your card?  For a small business on a budget, this question is crucial.  It doesn’t have to be a super creative Origami card, but it also shouldn’t be so busy the it burns the eyes of anyone that looks at it.  Are you using a cheap online printer that doesn’t care about quality?  What will your potential client think of the business card that you printed yourself with stock from Office Depot?
Until Skynet takes over and we all get a chip in our heads to share data, business cards will still be the method of choice to give your contact information to someone you have just met.  Social media is great for sharing information online but you can’t give someone your Facebook account or Twitter username when meeting face to face.  Business cards still have a place in the world.
There are a number of creative new ways to utilize business cards whether it is through a different kind of design or adding a QR code to the card, you can use the card to be more memorable and build your brand.  Tune in to KPEL 96.5 at 5:15pm today for Brand Buzz and Download the ebook, Down Low on Business Cards, to learn more.
