Candy on Branding

describe the image

Candy looks at branding the way Bill looks at Sookie. Ok, maybe that's a bad example. But, she is passionate about developing strong brands for her clients - minus the whole "vampire, bonton thing".

I RAMBLE TO MYSELF

One of the most difficult decisions for me to make is what I'm going to eat at a restaurant.

I suffer from the incurable disease of food envy. I take laps around the restaurant - it helps. I have a singing fetish. I wish I wasn’t tone deaf. Rude people suck. I use cooking as a cheap form of therapy. I could chop for hours. Baking, on the other hand, hates me. I love the thought of being organized but I'm bad at sensible sorting.

I love mornings but I hate waking up. I like the smell of coffee more than the taste of it. Television shows that keep me hanging until the next week annoy me. I rent a full season at a time. It has saved my sanity but I’m always a year behind. Cold toilet seats blow and I can’t help punching the buttons on a cash register as I walk by it. Restaurants that have black and white napkins make me happy. I will, one day, learn how to play the harmonica just for Ryan Adam's "Come Pick Me Up" and learn Cary Grant's "Singing in the Rain" routine just because.

I lose things. Things that aren’t really lost - I'm just a bad looker. I am comforted by rain unless I have to walk in it. Then I’m just pissed off by it. Airplanes put me right to sleep and I live in constant fear of running out of gas because I hate stopping to get it. I am inspired by language and writing and people that can combine the two with delightfully, unexpected surprises. And lastly, I'm admitting for the whole world to see that I am a fan of The Deadliest Catch, Lifetime, UFC and Broadway.
