Lafayette, LA - (August 9, 2010)  Jaci Russo, Sr. Partner of The Russo Group, is pleased to announce that Adam Chapman has been hired as a Brand Developer for The Russo Group.  Adam has a strong background in media sales and marketing experience in the Lafayette market and is a graduate of Louisiana State University with a degree in Marketing.

Lafayette, LA – (January 19, 2010) The Russo Group announced today that it has developed an iPhone application, simply titled RUSSO, that is now available as a free download for all iPhones from the Apple Itunes store. The app, one of the first launched by a branding agency, provides valuable marketing and advertising information with a focus on branding. The RUSSO iPhone app can be downloaded by going to the app store from an iPhone and searching Russo.

The Russo Group has joined the effort with a $1Million Brand Aid campaign.

The Russo Group, a strategic branding agency, has allocated $1Million in branding services for qualifying companies, enabling businesses to better market their products and services while seizing the opportunity to advertise more during this downturn. Baton Rouge, LA – (August 10, 2009) CC’s Community Coffee House hired The Russo Group to launch a summer Mochasippi campaign. In order to change the conversation, Russo brought the drinks to life and created a campaign with the concept of a dating scenario. The Mochasippi drinks are “acting out” their story lines on radio and online through Twitter and Facebook, as well as their own Youtube Channel. You can find them as follows:

Lafayette, LA – (August 13, 2009) The Community Foundation of Acadiana, with a grant by the Stuller Family Foundation is presenting a workshop series for non profit organizations in Acadiana led by Jaci Russo of The Russo Group .

Through this series, the CFA says that non profit organizations will learn how to make the most of this powerful, global conversation by working with social media practitioner Jaci Russo in four intensive, 2 hour, hands-on classes. Each builds upon the previous one to help the groups create a complete, actionable social media strategy that will measurably boost their ROI.

This course will teach the organizations about the approaches to monitoring and engaging their advocates through social media with a multiple discipline approach. Seattle, WA – (July 21, 2009) Pelago, makers of Whrrl, has recognized The Russo Group on its blog, Brand Buzz: The Russo Group Shows Some Serious Whrrl Love. Pelago acknowledged Russo for utilizing its product Whrrl which is an online collaboration tool.

The Russo Group was first introduced to Whrrl by Justin Bacque and utilized it to share the story of Festival International de Louisiane in April 2009. Russo documented the experience of utilizing Whrrl and Festival in the Razor Branding Blog post, Whrrling From Festival International.

As Candy Domengeaux explains, "We had a blast with Whrrl at Festival. With 350,000 people, 5 stages and an event that spans the entire landscape of Downtown Lafayette, whrrl was the best way to keep up with everyone. It was great to use Whrrl see where everyone was and find out what was going on there."

Utilizing the Whrrl app, coupled with GPS on smart phones, Festival-goers were able to join the story and contribute images and commentary from their individual unique vantage point. Sharing the story through Facebook and Twitter enabled people who weren't at the Festival to still be a part of the event.
