In short, branding is the feeling that consumers have for products. That emotional connection is what determines why a consumer will choose you instead of another.
With so many options - and so much competition - how do you stand out? Branding is the promise that you make, whether stated or implied, to your consumers. When you consistently keep that promise then you will turn the consumers into brand advocates. That is when they begin to market on your behalf.
That will only happen if your promise is authentic and delivered consistently. By establishing a unique position that is yours and yours alone,then you can build a brand that connects emotionally. Once you change the conversation then people will see you differently. But it's about focusing on their benefit rather than your features. It's about providing a point of differentiation that is truly unique. It's about owning a piece of their hearts, not just a place in their minds.
